Battlefield 4 Dragon’s Teeth DLC Key Features – Map Names, Game Mode, and Weapons Confirmed

Battlefield 4 developer DICE has outed the official key features for the game’s upcoming urban combat-themed multiplayer expansion, Dragon’s Teeth.

It confirms a number of previous reports, including what weapons and gadgets the add-on will introduce, as well as maps and game modes. Check out the newly updated description of Dragon’s Teeth from Battlefield 4′s official website:

“Battlefield 4™ Dragon’s Teeth drops you into urban combat across Asian cities in four all-new multiplayer maps. Wreak havoc in a floating restaurant or drain the lake opening up for a frontal vehicle assault, all while the battle rages between the modern high rises of Sunken Dragon. Fight among the huge monuments of despots in the grey concrete Propaganda. Wage wars within the bustling alleyways and upon the rooftops of Pearl Market. Cruise with fast-moving PWC’s on the canals in the pristine park to get the upper hand in the blazing infantry battle of Lumpini Garden. Battlefield 4 Dragon’s Teeth also includes five new weapons, the Ballistic shield, the controllable unmanned ground vehicle R.A.W.R., ten assignments and the new game mode Chain Link, where you create chains by linking together capture points to win the battle.”

Juan Deage is all I need.

  • Blaine Reinsma

    lol the RAWR…

the descriptions of the maps sound pretty cool, still anxious to see gameplay, urban maps are my favorite kind. Grand Bazaar was my favorite map in BF3. Flood Zone and Dawnbreaker are my favorite vanilla BF4 maps.

    • Grif

Ha lol I’m curious of what R.A.W.R. stands for. But I love urban maps too, I’m really excited for this DLC.

        • Grif

          Lol thanks for linking that.

      • MeisseN

Rawr. A word that means “I Love You” in dinosaur.

        Example:
        “Rawr”
        “Rawr”
-asteroid comes and kills them all-

        Half-Life 3 confirmed. Oh… I mean Dinos in BF4. DICE: Here’s your dino. RAWR

  • dpg70

But what is it going to break? That is what the community would like to see listed.

    • Samson

Right, because they’re going to list “what it breaks”, dullard.

      Think before you post.

      • dpg70

Clearly sarcasm is lost on your people.
BTW, name calling because you disagree makes you look like an idiot. Think before you post.

        • Katana67

Don’t worry, he never has the balls to actually admit he’s an imbecile. Or even follow up to make himself look like MORE of an imbecile.

One idiotic post and done, always goes down hilariously.

          • MeisseN

LOL, “think before you post”. That irony is so strong it’s almost in solid state

        • MeisseN

Looks like that guy loves to call others “dullard”. He is just annoying as hell though.

      • RustyFrags

You have the audacity to call him a “dullard,” yet you’re to incompetent to see blatant satire. As you would say, “pot meet kettle.”

  • Mr7Beans

So it’s a gadget not a battle pickup.

    • Yevgenij Pekurovskyy

It must be a pickup, otherwise having 10+ of those things at the same time on the map will break the game. Dice is not that stupid i hope

      • Katana67

Yeah, a little perplexed as to how they thought it was a good idea.

Unless it’s a teacup in terms of armor, it will be absolutely ridiculous on Hardcore.

        • Oblivion_Lost667

Maybe this means the EOD bot will get some balancing, it’s ridiculous in maps like Operation Locker on hardcore, takes a lot of bullets and kills pretty damn fast if you’re not paying attention or don’t see it. They are pretty squishy in normal in comparison to players though. Also, remember, if the .50 on it’s anything like the gunner seat one, it’s not the most effective weapon, but it will be a easy way to boost your KD.

          • Katana67

Or a cheap way to remove someone who’s in a fortified position. Which is the objective of 90% of the new gadgets in BF4.

Not sure if it’d be the same weapon as on the DPV, it appears to just be an M240. But they could put in any stats they want.

If it’s a bullet sponge, then it’ll be OP. If not, it’ll be okay.

Plus, it NEEDS a very… very… VERY… long reload time.

            • Oblivion_Lost667

That’s possible, but the firing sound sounds exactly like the .50. Mind you, that’s possibly placeholder, but I’m assuming it’s just the .50 from the gunner seats.

      • mechcell

        • Yevgenij Pekurovskyy

          Well this sucks

        • Mr7Beans

          DLC ruined.

        • jerrmy12

Nice try though, it’s not assault gadget.

          • RustyFrags

            Placeholder.

        • MeisseN

WOW. Assault class should consist of a bunch of people who would rush out with medpacks and defibs to heal/revive. Now expect to see squads of Assaults camping in their base and only controlling a RAWR. Not to mention it will probably be resupplied by ammo boxes. Wow imagine Operation Locker with no one running. This sucks

  • Zheka

    Where is Karkand?

    • MeisseN

      Ask Onan.

  • Hol_Up

The Propaganda map is in North Korea, I assume.

  • 2mandude

    *sigh*
another no to dino mode I guess.

    • Samson

      Give it a rest, kid.

      • 2mandude

I know it sounds like an annoying joke, but it would probably be the funnest thing that could add variety to the game

        • MrMultiPlatform

          There’s a reason there’s no dino’s.

      • James K

        Lulz…

    • MeisseN

Rawr. A word that means “I Love You” in dinosaur.

      Example:
      “Rawr”
      “Rawr”
-asteroid comes and kills them all-

      Half-Life 3 confirmed. Oh… I mean Dinos in BF4. DICE: Here’s your dino. RAWR

  • Oblivion_Lost667

The RAWR? Lol? Everyone’s going to be using the “I love you in dinosaur.” bot in locker probably, that’ll be some interesting twists, might even really hamper it, but then servers will just disallow it.

  • RustyFrags

Hoping Pearl Market is reminiscent of Grand Bazaar.

  • ……

played this game on PC today, its pretty dead if you don’t own any DLC.

  • Kugel_

Will feel like siege of shanghai :)

  • hijack_x

Does anyone on PS4 still have broken heli mechanics? I see people flying arround, but when I jump in, the crosshair is going crazy and it’s shooting in random directions. Hard to describe, but it looks like some rollercoaster sh*t. Don’t get me wrong, I know how to fly and I miss it from BF3. Anyone with this glitch problem?

    • KDaddy

I think you’re experiencing some turbulence there buddy

      • hijack_x

Yeah – everytime, any chopper, from the second I start the engine. Seems legit! :)
