After the week-long wait for Mortal Kombat fans anxious to catch the first gameplay footage of the newly announced Mortal Kombat, it’s finally here.

We get our first footage of Mortal Kombat X during Sony’s E3 2014 press conference, which showcases Sub-Zero and Scorpion brawling it out, as usual. In addition to receiving its first gameplay footage, NetherRealm Studios also kept true to their promise and gave us our first look at two of the new characters to the Mortal Kombat franchise.

Mortal Kombat X is expected to launch sometime in the year of 2015, for the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One platforms.
