The Halo Infinite matchmaking updates for the month of August will update how the game determines skill (MMR). This will improve the accuracy of where players are ranked and the accuracy of CSR ranks. CSR ranks of all players will also be reset to help accommodate the new changes.
The update will also finally bring the long-awaited Ranked Doubles and Team Doubles playlist that will introduce 2v2 slayer to the game. Last Spartan Standing will also be a rotating playlist from now on, meaning that it will not always be available for players.
When this downtime ends, Ranked CSR will reset & both Ranked Arena and Ranked Team Doubles playlists will be available. Stay tuned here as we'll announce when this downtime begins & ends. More info on upcoming #HaloInfinite multiplayer improvements: https://t.co/KBoiyhTSs5 (2/2)
