Visual Concepts has released WWE 2K23 update 1.009 (PS4 version 1.09) today, and this is an unannounced patch. Given we just got a significant patch last week, don’t expect a huge list of fixes for this one. Read on for what’s new in the WWE 2K23 April 26 patch notes.

File Size: 1.7GB (PS5)
Update 2: Over on Twitter, the WWE 2K23 account announced the patch fixes, and it didn’t state that it was just for Xbox One, so we’re assuming this applies for all platforms.

Update: Visual Concepts has released the patch notes over on Discord, and it seems to be a fix for the Xbox version (though all platforms have gotten it):
The following WWE 2K23 hotfix update is now live:
- Reenabled 8-player online on Xbox One, which was temporarily disabled in v1.08
Again, it’s worth noting that ALL platforms got the patch and not just Xbox One. We’ve reached out to 2K about this and will update if we hear anything back.
So far, Visual Concepts has not acknowledged the patch just yet, though we’re hoping that changes within the day. In the meantime, here are the known issues affecting the game after last week’s patch (via the official WWE 2K Discord):
Create
- When creating an arena, custom images may not apply properly to turnbuckles.
Universe
- Superstar movesets may reset to default when imported into Universe.
Universe
- Managers may not appear during entrances or matches in certain situations.
Hopefully, these issues are fixed with today’s patch. We are on the lookout for any changes made, and if the community finds something that got fixed, or if there are specific issues that weren’t fixed with the patch, we’ll add it into the article.
Hopefully they make the new moves accessible from their assigned position menus instead of having to scroll through “All” to find them.
