Apex Legends New Update for Sept. 25 for Version 2.68 Brings Various Fixes; Known Issues Listed
Respawn has released the Apex Legends new update for September 25 on all platforms, which appears as update version 2.68 on last-gen, and version 1.000.082 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S! This brings a short list of fixes to the battle royale shooter, and we’ve also included the known issues the dev team is tackling as well.

Here’s what’s new with the patch according to Respawn:
- Support and Assault Perk Bins will now correctly display icons and will be visible on the map only when they have not yet been opened
- Lighting issues on the Thunderdome map
- Fast mouse movement on DirectX 12 causes the cursor to move outside of the game window
- Battle Pass’s Level 50 reward of 100AC not clearly being marked as “free”
- The Playlist timer incorrectly reading “0s”
- Fixed an issue causing private match crashes

- Requeue not working as intended
- [Havoc] Mastery requires Turbocharger Hop-Up
- Death Recap empty after Kill Replay
- Friends list shows yourself as friend
- No V/SFX player for allies on Legend Select screen
- [Alter] Occasionally skipping Tac teleport animation
- [Xbox] FPS drops with Bloodhound Ult
- [R-99/Peacekeeper] Specific trials not tracking in BR/Mixtape
- [Mad Maggie] Ultimate not impacting some pass/tacs/ults
- Founder’s badge shows as locked, but can still be equipped
- Weapon Mastery + Trackers show different values
FIX IN PROGRESS:
- [PS] Crashing across PS devices
- [Mirage] Not cloaked during revive
- [Crypto] Some skins have visible elements despite Off The Grid perk
- Unable to drop items while using consumables
- [Thunderdome] Large magenta pieces
That’s about it. Given this is a minor patch, don’t expect any new content, as the Space Hunt patch was released just last week.
