Lost Soul Aside New Update 1.101 Delivers Combat, Performance Improvements
Following the release of the new Challenge Mode addition to Lost Soul Aside a few days ago, Ultizero has deployed a new patch for the game this November 21, and this one focuses on optimization improvements on PS5 and PC.
Players will see this download appear as Lost Soul Aside update 1.101 (complete version 1.101.000), and this small file houses improvements to the Greatsword, performance and stability improvements.

Greatsword Combat Enhancements
Added new special attack combo transitions following “Spinning Thrust” and “Sword Glide” for a smoother combat experience.

Reduced the interaction distance for the Next Wave mechanism in Surge of Voidrax, preventing accidental activations.

Optimized background music performance after victories in Chapter 5: Clash of Fates.

Updated and enhanced monster hit sound effects for better combat feedback.

Controller Responsiveness Fix
Resolved an issue in Surge of Voidrax where confirm inputs could become unresponsive after controller disconnect/reconnect on the reward screen, or after returning to the game from a minimized state on PC.

Preparation Screen Issue
Fixed a bug where rapidly pressing Confirm while entering Liana’s Preparation interface could cause monsters to appear abnormally on the Preparation screen.

Combat Skill Fix
Addressed an issue where Whirlwind Slash could not be executed with the Greatsword on certain non-slide surfaces while gliding.

Collision Issue Correction
Fixed a missing ground collision in the Fourtides Coliseum area of Chapter 4: Frosthold Borderland.

Monster Audio Fix
Corrected an issue where some monster sound effects did not attenuate properly with distance.
PC – Bug Fixes

Save File Load Issue
Fixed a problem where saving after claiming Surge of Voidrax gifts in story mode could cause certain save files to fail when loading.

Challenge Mode Record Issue
Resolved an issue where the Maximum Wave record in the Surge of Voidrax New Challenge screen could be lost after restarting the game.

Camera Rotation Bug
Fixed an issue in Chapter 2: Buckhorn Palace where, after the Buckhorn Spirit-Dragon battle, the camera may fail to rotate during Gethya’s dialogue when using keyboard and mouse controls.
