Saros Update 1.003.004 Drops Day of Official Release
While those who bought the Deluxe Edition of Saros have been able to play it the past few days, those who bought the base game can play it now since the game’s officially released.
Oddly enough, Housemarque has released another patch for Saros on release day, and this is the third patch in the last week of the game’s launch.
Players will see the download as Saros update 01.003.004, and this should be a small download.
Saros Receives Update Version 1.003.004 on Release Day
Same as in previous patches, Housemarque has yet to comment or acknowledge the title update. While Saros is a complete and polished experience for the most part, it still has a few bugs that need to be ironed out.
There are (or were) issues with the PS5’s suspend and resume feature when it comes to Saros, softlock isues that do happen in various instances and biomes and more. Another thing that’s surfaced today, is progression blockers such as as the one shown below.
Pretty sure I just ran into a run ending glitch

Per the poster, “At about 20s you see that four-legged creature just shoot up into the sky and disappear off the map. When that happened I said out loud “that was weird”…as you can see, after I finish off the rest of the enemies and there are no more red dots on the radar, the solar cage still hasn’t disappeared and the game thinks I’m in combat. So that sucks.”
Chances are, there are more issues like these and other technical issues that need to be ironed out via game updates.
If Housemarque mentions what’s in today’s patch, we’ll update the article with the info. For those playing it and notice something different after applying today’s patch, leave a comment below and let us know.
