Death Stranding 2 PC Update 1.10 Released on July 2
Nixxes Software, the first-party PlayStation studio tasked to port Death Stranding 2: On the Beach to PC, has released a new game update today that brings the game to version 1.10.
Expect this to be a small download that focuses on technical fixes. Read on for the complete patch notes to know everything that got fixed.
Death Stranding 2 PC Version Fixes Steam Input
The latest Death Stranding 2 update focuses on overall stability and bug fixes. It resolves a freeze that could occur for some players when using the Instant Camera, fixes an issue affecting Steam Input controller mapping on PC, and addresses a visual distortion bug that could appear in screenshots.
The complete changelog is as follows:
- Fixed a freeze that could occur when using the instant camera.
- Addressed a Steam Input issue where assigning the same action multiple times could cause the wrong input icon to be displayed.
- Resolved an issue where visual distortion could appear in screenshots when using DLSS upscaling.
- Various stability improvements.
While Nixxes has been busy updating the game regularly, don’t expect this to continue since the game doesn’t have any major updates planned.
In other gaming news, while not about PC gaming specifically, the gaming world was rocked yesterday when Sony announced they are ceasing production of physical disc versions of new games starting in 2028.
