Modern Warfare 3 Update 1.004 Addresses Weapon Cheats via September 24 Patch
With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 now removed from the COD App launcher, it’s version number has changed too.
Today, that should’ve changed again, as Sledgehammer Games has pushed out Modern Warfare 3 update 1.004, and surprisingly, the developers have communicated (somewhat) about it.
This isn’t your standard bugfix patch as well, as this actively makes the game experience better.
Modern Warfare 3 Receives Version 1.003/1.004 in Same Week to Remove Weapon Cheats
There was the version 1.003 patch released the other day, and today, version 1.004 was also released. Both patches are now confirmed to be about gliched weapons.
The removed weapons are:
- Modded Mors
- Modded Reclaimer 18
- Modded Crossbow
- Modded Haymaker
- Modded Cor-45.
Over on the Modern Warfare 3 subreddit, the official Sledgehammer Games account commented, “Confirmed. Today’s update addresses the weapon cheats that lingered after the June update. We’ll continue monitoring for any others that surface, so please keep reporting them as encountered.”
