Marathon Update 1.034 Fixes Night Marsh Crashes on October 8
Marathon players should see the game’s servers going back up by the time you read this, and before that, you’ll need to download Marathon update 1.034 | 01.034.000, which was rolled out across all platforms.
Given this week’s massive update, don’t expect much from this outside of fixes. Most notable is the Night Marsh crashing issues are now resolved.
Marathon Minor Update Fixes Night Marsh Problems
Today’s patch applies the following:
- Removed incorrect information from the Nightfall Refresh explainer screen.
- Fixed an issue causing players to experience crashes on Night Marsh.
The developers also shared the following notes as part of today’s maintenance: “Just a heads up that we’ve resolved an issue where players were being let into Marathon prior to maintenance completing and seeing their accounts in a fresh state. No player data or progress was lost!”
The major part of this week’s patch was the Nightfall Refresh, which applied the following:
Nightfall Refresh
- The following have been reset:
- Runner, Cradle, and Faction levels
- Priority Contracts
- Rank
- Vault Contents
- Zone access
- New Rewards Pass
- The NuCaloric Reward Pass is available now at no additional cost to everyone who owns Marathon.
- Sponsored Queues will be returning every weekend (Thursdays through Mondays) for the rest of Nightfall Refresh.
- Sponsored Perimeter is up first and will be available 10/8 – 10/12.
No word if we’ll be getting a bigger patch this coming Tuesday, but if Bungie sees more anomalies and whatnot, I wouldn’t put it past the devs to release one.
In related news, Bungie has promised more games and stories are planned for the Destiny franchise, which should be good news for guardians everywhere.
