Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Update 1.04 Released; Addresses Locked Game Issues on PlayStation

Infinity Ward has just released the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 update 1.04 on PlayStation and Xbox platforms, addressing issues relating access to the game and its single-player. Read on for what’s new in the Modern Warfare October 26 patch notes.

Per Infinity Ward, this is what the latest update for Modern Warfare 2 does. 

PlayStation players encountering a locked game tile or issue accessing campaign early access should open QUICK SETTINGS (options button) — and then back out.

This will trigger a return to the correct menu. This will be addressed in an upcoming update

This issue has been resolved with an update. Please restart your game client.

  • Fixed an issue on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 that prevented players from accessing the campaign.
  • Fixed an issue on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 the cause the game to appear with a lock icon on either platform.

That’s all there is for this update, but stay tuned, as Infinity Ward will be launching the multiplayer for Call of Duty Modern Warfare later this week, so expect plenty of more updates to drop real soon!
