Shift Up has released Stellar Blade day one update 1.002 on PS5, and those who preloaded the game should be notified of this update. This title update seems to add New Game+ into the game and also removes something that is quite offensive as well.
Stellar Blade Day One Update 1.002 Patch Notes:
Update: More info regarding New Game Plus is available here.
The TL;DR:
- New skills
- New and harder difficulties
- Gear level expansions
- 34 new outfits, five new additional accessories and two cosmetics each for Adam, Lily and the Drone.
- Enemy placements changes
While Shift Up has not revealed anything about today’s patch, we still have an idea what the developers did thanks to gamers around the world. Lance McDonald, a known modder and dataminer posted that Shift Up removed an offensive graffiti in the game, as well as added New Game+.
Stellar Blade embargo is up so I can finally show you the "Hard R Shop" graffiti lmao wonder how long this'll take to get patched out. pic.twitter.com/e7xv2aoxGz

Aside from that, there’s no changelog from the studio, and we suspect they won’t release one given this patch is technically a pre-release. The Stellar Blade review embargo has lifted today and so far, it’s gotten favorable reviews from critics.
Stellar Blade will officially be available on April 26 exclusively on the PS5.
