3D Realms Digital Showcase known as “Realms Deep” has just been announced to return for the third consecutive year on September 16 and will run up to September 18. The event is also to be followed by a LAN party in Aalborg, Denmark.

3D Realms Digital Showcase is promised to be an action-packed single-day broadcast. Realms Deep will run for over 90 minutes, and will focus on projects from 3D Realms and its friends around the world. The event will mainly highlight old-school “boomer shooters,” modern FPS titles, non-shooters, and even more.

The event is promised to reveal never-before-seen projects that will uphold 3D Realms’ legacy. It will also include the latest updates on the highly-anticipated dark-fantasy FPS GRAVEN, Ion Fury’s Aftershock expansion, Core Decay, WRATH, and the horror-themed cult shooter CULTIC.

“Realms Deep returns for a third year of showing off the kick-ass games we’re making and the projects our industry friends are creating,” said Frederik Schreiber, CEO of 3D Realms. “From the beginning, we’ve wanted to run a LAN party to celebrate our community. Other developers and 3D Realms partners are also expected to make an appearance during Realms Deep. This includes Fulqrum, New Blood, Team 17, Nvidia, HYPERSTRANGE, Dread XP, Nightdive Studios, Retrovibe, Bounding Box Software, Rogue Games, Running With Scissors, and many more.
