Cold Iron Studios has released the Aliens Fireteam Elite update 1.11 (version 1.011 on PS5) patch this October 4, and this seems to be just for PlayStation (PS4, PS5) platforms only!

According to Cold Iron, this patch is the same as the one previously released last week for Xbox and PC!

Per the official Aliens Fireteam Elite Discord channel:

Hi folks! We just released a hotfix for an issue introduced with yesterday’s Patch 1.0.1.90005 that could prevent players in a group from queuing to Horde mode and certain other missions. For PlayStation, we can confirm Patch 1.0.1.90005 will be going out next week, but we will have today’s hotfix available the same day, so PlayStation players shouldn’t come across this queue issue. https://www.aliensfireteamelite.com/en/releasenotes/

This patch is now available for both Steam and Xbox platforms. It will become available for PlayStation at the same time as our previous Patch 1.0.1.90005, we’ll update these patch notes and notify via Discord when it becomes available. https://discord.gg/aliensfireteamelite

We have implemented the following change.

GENERAL

  • Fixed an issue that could prevent players from queuing for Horde Mode and certain other missions while being in a group.
That seems to be it. If there are other changes, or something else added, we’ll be sure to upda the post accordingly. There was a patch released back on September 23, which included a ton of gamepla-related changes.
