Amnesia: The Bunker Delayed for Two Weeks Due to “Unforeseen Certification Issues,” Demo Out Next Week

Amnesia: The Bunker Delayed

Frictional Games has announced that Amnesia: The Bunker has been delayed yet again! But this time, it’s just for another two weeks, which puts the game’s new release date at June 6.

According to the press release, Amnesia: The Bunker is getting delayed due to “unforeseen certification issues.” Frictional’s decision to delay the game is to ensure that it does not ship the game with these issues. The extra development time will also allow the studio to rectify the problem and ensure the best possibly gameplay experience upon release.

While that might be bad news for horror fans, there is a little good news from today’s developments, as a demo is coming to Steam this May 22! Sadly, this is just for Steam, so console gamers are left in the dark when it comes to an early taste of what’s to come.

You can check out 10 minutes of gameplay from The Bunker’s latest build right here.

Amnesia: The Bunker will be released this June 6 on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
