Apex Legends Sun Squad Collection Event Kicks Off March 28, Here’s What to Expect

Respawn and EA have announced the Apex Legends “Sun Squad Collection Event,” and this kicks off this March 28 and will run until April 11! Players can expect new cosmetics, a new LTM (Limited Time Mode) and more!

Apex Legends Sun Squad Collection Event Overview:

• Limited-Time Game Mode – Legends will need extra sunscreen in the limited-time “Heatwave” mode, a twist on Battle Royale where sporadic heatwaves damage players who are outdoors. Head inside or stay under heat shields until the heatwave subsides if players want to survive. Worse comes to worse, try sliding or wearing sunglasses to reduce the sun’s harmful  rays.  

• Hawaiian Shirts, Scuba Gear and More – Players can earn additional items with the event’s rewards track as 24 limited-time cosmetics will be available for Ash, Mirage, Fuse and more. 

• Ash’s Heirloom – If players unlock all 24 cosmetics before April 11, Ash’s “Strongest Link” Heirloom will be automatically unlocked.
