Apex Legends update 1.000.058 has been released on PC and consoles. While this is an unannounced update, expect a slew of fixes to be part of the title update, as Respawn has acknowledged some issues with the game. Read on for the Apex Legends new update patch notes for Jan. 25.

Update: Respawn has confirmed fixes for some of the game’s issues.


While Respawn hasn’t released the official patch notes just yet, we do know some of the issues the studio is looking into. We’ve listed some of the known issues via the official Apex Legends Trello board.

INVESTIGATING:

  • Hot Drops are currently unavailable
  • [Loba] Prestige Finisher “Enraged Claws” currently unavailable
  • [PS5] Crash when using Common or Rare skins with Ash
  • [FFVII] Badge Reward screen does not display badge rewards
  • Crashes referencing FS_CheckAsyncRequest when loading into a map
  • Playing at 165+ FPS may cause stuttering during some gameplay scenarios
  • Button prompts may not appear on summary/death screen, including report button – but buttons still work!
  • Legends may rotate when exiting a Trident

IN-PROGRESS:

  • Gifting currently unavailable
  • [Octane] Unable to kick in doors with heirloom equipped
  • Match summary no longer shows match placement
  • [Havoc] Weapon moves for a second when entering ADS while moving
  • [Buster Sword] Unable to activate Limit Break in Firing Range after dying with it activated
  • [Buster Sword] Using Slam OOB makes abilities unusable

Over on Twitter/X, Respawn confirmed that fixes are incoming for the Hot Drops tab on the store, and Loba’s finisher exploit.
