Arashi: Castles of Sin – Final Cut Coming to VR Systems November 16; Features Listed

Arashi Castles of Sin

Have you been looking for a new stealth-based ninja game set in feudal Japan? Look no further, because Skydance has just announced Arashi: Castles of Sin – Final Cut, a revamped version of the VR action stealth game that released back in August of 2021.

The trailer for the new game is available to watch below, and it looks pretty slick:

Here are some of the key features that Skydance has laid out for the upcoming game:

Key Features

  • Improved Graphics and Controls – The Final Cut version of Arashi will have some updated graphics and some carefully curated controls. This will ensure a more immersive experience for players as they leap from rooftop to rooftop and skulk around in the shadows.
  • Unique Bosses – According to Skydance, each of the Six Oni you will face as a shinobi assassin will have their own unique abilities and style. You’ll have to figure out how to take each one down in their own way.
  • Man’s Best Friend – Throughout the player’s journey, their trusty canine companion Haru will accompany them. He’ll be able to help attack enemies and remain a trusty sidekick for much of the game.
  • Wide Range of Weapons – Arashi features “blades, grenades, mines, arrows, blowguns, pistols, and more,” allowing players to approach combat however they see fit.

From the trailer, the game looks to be a good old-fashioned romp through towns, castles, and the countryside. VR players who have been missing games like Ghost of Tsushima and Tenchu can certainly look forward to this.

In other VR news, we’re also looking forward to Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR and Resident Evil 4 Remake’s VR mode. Arashi will hopefully hold us over until those are in our hands.

Arashi: Castles of Sin – Final Cut releases on November 16, 2023 for PSVR2, PCVR, and Meta Quest 2. A Meta Quest 3 version is planned for a later release.
