Studio Wildcard has deployed Ark Survival Evolved update 2.90, which is the game’s first title update of 2023! Given the timing, don’t expect anything major from it outside of fixe, though there was a new event that kicked off recently. Read on for the Ark Survival Evolved January 5 patch notes.

Update: Studio Wildcard has released today’s changelog for the pach.
v710.12 (710.8 client) – 01/05/2023 – Minor version for servers
- Fixed dinos teleporting to the incorrect location after SE boss fight in Single Player (Teleport location: -302537 -44644 53371)
The studio hasn’t released the official patch notes for today, but an update was rolled out earlier for PC, and this was for exploit fixes.

Alongside that, the drops for the new year event for 2023 saw an adjustment in its reward.
Along with 12PM EST on Jan 1st as planned, we'll run an extra at 12AM EST Jan 2nd to compensate for the drop issue. We'll also bump up the weighting towards rarest for some mega bumper loot on both upcoming drops
