Studio Wildcard has released Ark: Survival Evolved update 2.97 and this plugs an exploit alongside other fixes. Read on for what’s new in the new Ark update patch notes for July 28.

Ark: Survival Evolved Update 2.97 Patch Notes | Ark New Update Patch Notes for July 28:
v716.1 – 07/28/2023 – Major version for servers and clients
- Fixed an exploit
- Adjusted rhynio speed
- Added new sfx for rhynio
That’s about it. This patch is the same for the Xbox versions and doesn’t seem to be out for PC. Once a new patch is released, though we’re not expecting anything major, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.

this is a joke the money u spend on this fekin game and pc has to always wait , every1 needs to stop paying for anything to do with this game or any of the companies involved hurt them in the pocket ? we pay for games to play not wait days or maybe weeks for fixes its a pisstake

It’s the weekend and Microsoft probably don’t work weekends…My guess is that it won’t get certified until Monday morning..
It would be nice if they held the update on Xbox and PC (MS store/game pass) until they were both certified. I work with Microsoft frequently for my job and I can honestly say, “Don’t hold your breath on smart ideas.”

24 hours later and no pc update wtf
Even an ETA or a Twitter post would be very welcome, or a website we could visit to see what the current version live on PC (and actually available) so we don’t have to second guess our checking methods and jump through hoops like hanging out on a random comment thread for news. If anyone knows of a site like that, please let me know.
