Astro’s Playroom Update 1.900 Adds New Trophies, Collectibles

Team Asobi has released Astro’s Playroom update 1.900 today, and this surprise patch gives players new trophies and collectibles to earn! This is an unannounced title update for the adventure game that saw release on PS5 back in November 2020.

Team Asobi hasn’t said anything about today’s title update just yet, but we have confirmation of the new stuff from Okami:

Per the image it says, “A mysterious portal has appeared in the center of the PS Labo. Could this be related to Astro’s new big adventure?” and adds, “A new collection of gatchas have also been added. Time to go spend those extra coins!”

There are five new trophies to earn with the title update, which is definitely a surprise for anyone who’s still playing the game three years after.

For the “new big adventure,” the game is referring to Astro Bot, which got announced by Sony at the recent State of Play and launches this September 6. Read on for what to expect from that game here.
