Though initially seen as a joke announcement, Asus’ ROG-flavored handheld console is entirely real as per tweets posted by Asus ROG’s Twitter accounts. The ROG Ally runs on Windows and uses a custom AMD APU developed in collaboration with Asus that is capable of running the best of what PC gaming has to offer. In the video, the console is shown running High on Life, Monster Hunter Rise, and WRC Generations, and the library of titles seen in the video includes Resident Evil Village, Ghostrunner, Dying Light 2 Stay Human, Steelrising, and many more. Using the in-house Armoury Crate software, players can set up different key mappings for each game as well.

Asus has not revealed further details about the ROG Ally’s launch window or pricing as of yet, but a Best Buy entry for the handheld console is live right now. Stay tuned here at MP1st for all upcoming updates and announcements.
