Atomic Heart DLC 1 Release Date Locked for Aug 2., Titled “Annihilation Instinct”; Details and Trailer Revealed

Mundfish has announced the title and release date of Atomic Heart DLC #1. Titled Atomic Heart: Annihilation Instinct DLC, is aiming for an August 2, 2023 release date across all platforms.

Continue your journey in the Annihilation Instinct DLC, learning what happened in Atomic Heart’s dystopian world after the climax of the main story. Embark on a mission through the new mind-altering Mendeleev Complex and its surrounding swamps.

Discover the truth about NORA as Major P-3 is pulled back into Facility 3826. You’ll have to fight off shape-shifting new enemies, taking them down using two new weapons – the Secateur (ranged) and the Klusha (melee). Your handy glove also has a new ability, Techno-Statis, which allows it to time-shift.

Expect to meet a new character, and other’s returning from the game itself in surprising circumstances.

Alongside announcing the title and release date for the upcoming DLC, Mundfish has also revealed that the most requested, New Game+ mode is now available for free to all players with the latest update. New Game+ is the most difficult mode yet, and players will need their previously unlocked abilities and arsenal to fend off the strongest Atomic Heart enemies, with new specific resistances and attack effects.

Again, Atomic Heart: Annihilation Instinct DLC launches August 2, 2023. The base game is up to 40% off on Steam right now until July 13 (also available with Xbox Game Pass).
