If you played the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout beta, then chances are you’ve encountered someone wearing body armor that was a wee bit harder to kill. If you’re one of the many who didn’t like it, then rejoice! Treyarch has heard your plea, and the Blackout armor nerf has been confirmed!
This was announced by Treyarch Studio Design Director David Vonderhaar over on Twitter where he said fans will be “pleased” with the Blackout armor nerf!
I’ve been to the future. I’ll tell you what happens. You are all very pleased with the nerfs we did to the armor in #Blackout. https://t.co/rIL9YEk1hd

In addition to that, Vonderhaar also teased an image of the action button being changed to press/hold for picking up items in Blackout!
Sir David Young and team have created this peace offering. It still needs to go through the normal quality assurance and integration steps. But, ASAP. I promise. Just don’t yell at me when you turn this on but can’t reload after a hot drop! pic.twitter.com/hw2BB4ouMQ

In other Black Ops 4 news, Activision has confirmed that cross-platform play for the game (and Destiny, and Overwatch) most likely won’t happen soon. Treyarch is also looking at mod tools for the game on PC, but it won’t be ready for launch.
