Big Ant Studios has released the Cricket 22 update 1.17 (PS5 version 1.000.017) patch this January 14, and this includes new features, bug fixes and more. Check out the complete patch notes below.

Here’s what’s new per the game’s studio head:
- Added ability add Custom Stadiums to Tours
- Added auto bowling to custom difficulty
- Improved running between wickets
- Balanced straight drive shots
- Balanced aggressive drive shots
- Reduced chance of overthrows when batters in crease
- Rectified Big Wheel statistics
- Rectified Trophies/Achievements issues
- Improved stability when downloading Academy Teams and Players
- Improved general stability
PS5 only:
- Rectified issue with some Custom Stadiums in Career Mode
In the latest patches there is a small cosmetic issue with the PlayFace characters in the Academy, such as missing eyebrows. We are working on a hotfix that will correct it. (Re-downloading players from the Academy does not negate the issue.)
