If you’re being kicked into orbit in Destiny 2 sessions, it’s not just you, as Bungie has acknowledged the Destiny 2 down reports surfacing this August 14.

Update: Issues regarding the orbit problem has been resolved.

The studio has made the announcement on Twitter that they are investigating the matter:
We are actively investigating an issue where players are being kicked to orbit.

Reliable site downdetector has also seen an uptick of reports from players recently regarding the outage too.
In addition to the issues, there is Destiny 2 background maintenance on-going now, though it shouldn’t affect the servers as there is no downtime expect from it.
