While id Software released a big patch for DOOM Eternal that  brought in The Ancient Gods Part 1 DLC and other various fixes, the studio has released the DOOM Eternal update 1.09 October 23 patch and it’s for fixes.

This update is out on PS4, Xbox One and PC, and is a small download. Head on below for the fixes.

DOOM Eternal Update 1.09 October 23 Patch Notes:

  • Fixed a crash when accessing the social menu if you have a very large friends list
  • Addressed issue with Makyr Drone health drops
  • The DOOG easter egg has been removed, but will live on in infamy… We were wondering how long it would take for someone to notice, and as always, we’re impressed with the community’s speed!

Note that we’re still verifying these patch notes as they’re from Reddit and not from an official source. Once we know more details, we’ll be sure to let readers know. In the meantime, jf you spot any gameplay-related changes, let us know down in the comments. If it pans out, we’ll update the post and credit you.

Don’t forget to check our DOOM Eternal review where we gave it a 9/10! in case you’re wondering if it’s worth a pick up.
