Dragon Age: Dreadwolf Production to Be Aided by Mass Effect Team; Ex-Dev Returns as Consultant

Dragon Age: Dreadwolf

Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, the upcoming fantasy RPG by BioWare, is getting some more manpower as the game nears its eventual release. A recent report has revealed that a former developer will be returning to work on the project as a consultant alongside support from the Mass Effect team.

The report, published by GamesBeat, stated that former BioWare Executive Producer Mark Darrah has returned to work on Dragon Age: Dreadwolf as a consultant. Here’s the full statement from Gary McKay, BioWare’s general manager:

We continue to iterate and polish Dreadwolf, focusing on the things that matter most to our fans. As we further connect this new experience with the series’ legacy Mark Darrah will join the team as a consultant, bringing with him years of experience working on Dragon Age. We’re proud to have this team, with strong leadership at the helm, working together to realize the vision we have for the game.

Alongside Darrah’s current involvement, BioWare will be getting assistance from the studio’s Mass Effect team. This is possible due to the next Mass Effect game still being pretty early in development.

With no release date for Dragon Age: Dreadwolf in sight, there isn’t much to look forward to just yet, but with the recent support from the Mass Effect team and Darrah as a consultant, Dreadwolf may become a solid addition to the Dragon Age franchise when it launches.
