Bandai Namco Entertainment has today revealed our first look at Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC gameplay, alongside confirmation of the expansion is set for release in June 21, 2024. For those wondering how much the DLC will cost, it’ll set you aside a good $40!
How Much Will Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Cost?
The price of $40 was revealed by the PlayStation Store listing of the expansion, which is now live.
Alongside that, Shadow of the Erdtree will also feature its own Collector’s Edition!
Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Collector’s Edition Contents:
Price: $250 (Pre-order link)
- 40-page hard cover artbook
- Statue of Mesmmer The Impaler (46cm)
- Shadow of the Erdtree voucher code and official soundtrack
Alongside the pre-orders going live, Bandai Namco has also revealed the Shadow of the Erdtree key features.
Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Key Features:
A New Story
Guided by Empyrean Miquella, players are beckoned to the Land of Shadow, a place obscured by the Erdtree where the goddess Marika first set foot.
In these strange new lands, players discover the dark secrets of the world as they meet others who follow in Miquella’s footsteps with ulterior motives.
Exploring a Familiar World Full of New Secrets
ELDEN RING Shadow of the Erdtree takes players beyond the Lands Between to explore the Land of Shadow, a completely new world from ELDEN RING.
Players can seamlessly travel back and forth between its vast maps interspersed with diverse situations and meticulous dungeons where menacing enemies roam
A Further-deepened RPG
Shadow of the Erdtree adds new weapons, equipment, weapon skills and magic not found in the base game ELDEN RING, along with new enemies, boss encounters and plotlines to further increase players’ RPG freedom.
Take on these threats with the new powers you can acquire.
Don’t forget, the base game is needed in order to play the upcoming expansion. While the DLC is a tad pricey, knowing FromSoftware, this should be packed to the brim with content that should make the price (hopefully) worth it.
