Embark Studios Surprises Fans With One Final Playtest for ARC Raiders Before Launch

Greetings, Raiders! We have some really exciting news for you all, as despite previously saying there are no plans for another tech test, Embark Studios is giving everyone a chance to try ARC Raiders before it launches!

That’s right, another ARC Raiders playtest is happening, though instead of it being a tech test, it’s a server slam!

The Arc Raiders playtest is ending later today, and while the test itself was by invite only, it seems the title has already managed to pull off some impressive feats.

Raiders, the Rust Belt Awaits for You on October 17

Starting on October 17, through October 19, 2025, gamers will have the opportunity to try out ARC Raiders before it releases. The good news? No invite required, and the test is happening on all platforms globally.

That means Xbox, PlayStation, and PC players will all be able to join in on the action, which makes sense, considering this is a Server Slam. For those who don’t know what that is, it’s essentially a test to see how much traffic a game could get, with the hopes of the studio being able to prepare themselves better when the game releases.

Can’t say I was expecting this at all, but I sure as heck will take full advantage of it. Let’s hope the servers will be able to hold all the players, as the tech test proved to be pretty popular for being an invite-only test.

ARC Raiders will officially launch on October 30, 2025, for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
