Here’s the latest announcement from Codemasters:

A hotfix is now live for #F122game that addresses the following:

🔧 Corrupted savegame files for some players
🔧 Excessive force feedback during collisions
🔧 Non-functioning Steam invites with cross-play

Thank you for your patience as we worked to resolve these issues 🙌

That’s about it for the fixes. The studio has also updated the known issues they are investigating, which we’ve included below.

F1 22 Known Issues as of Sept. 15, 2022:

  • Crashes on boot (PC) – Click here for troubleshooting steps
  • Unable to launch the game on Steam Deck
  • Friends list appears as empty due to a large number of EA Friends
  • AI can backout on overtakes too easily in certain scenarios
  • GPU usage in menus (PC)
  • Audio stuttering issues
  • Heusinkveld pedals have a 50% brake deadzone
  • Quick Practice over-wears the entire Power Unit
  • Inconsistent force feedback when using a controller (PC)

  • Engineer incorrectly states DSQ’d cars are still running
