Foamstars Update 1.06 Brings New Skins and Adjustments

Foamstars update 1.06 (PS5 update version 1.006) has been released by Toylogic this Feb. 27 (Feb. 28 for those outside the US), and this brings new collab skins, gameplay adjustments and bug fixes.

■ hololive Collaboration Slideboard Skins
Added two free slideboard skins, hololive BLUE and hololive PINK, to commemorate the “FOAMSTARS PARTY in hololive” stream.
* Unlock conditions: Clear the STARRY POP Season Weekly Challenge, “Party 1 time.”
* Challenge period: From February 28, 2024 (01:00) through to March 9, 2024 (01:00 UTC).

■ Soa Character Skin: Soa’s Knitted Toy
Added free character skin for Soa, “Soa’s Knitted Toy”.
* Unlock conditions: Clear the STARRY POP Season Weekly Challenge, “Party 3 times”.
* Challenge period: From February 28, 2024 (01:00) through to March 9, 2024 (01:00 UTC).

■ Game Balance
Character balance adjusted as follows:
Tonix
• Skill: Ms. Fizzy Turret III
– Increased durability (HP) by 12%.
* In Happy Bath Survival, players outside the arena can destroy the turret inside the arena.
• Skill: King Blaster XIII
– Reduced time from deployment to firing.
– Reduced turning time by 50% when switching targets.
– Reduced time by 25% from target effect display to firing area lock.
– Reduced time by 34% from projectile launch to impact.
– Improved horizontal and vertical foam buildup.

■ Bug Fixes
• Adjusted save data communication buffer size to prevent the Data Save Error from occurring in the lounge and before/after battles.
• Adjusted matchmaking system to improve matchmaking times.
