Fortnite Update 4.30 Drops for Reload Duos This June 27

Epic Games has pulled the Fortnite servers down this June 27, and this is to deploy a patch on all platforms. Console gamers will see Fortnite update 4.30 released today, and this will being Reload Duos mode into the game, with last week’s update bringing Squad Reload.

Fortnite will be taking a brief downtime at 4:00 AM ET, with matchmaking disabled shortly beforehand.

As for what changes are in tow with this patch, it’s not mentioned by Epic Games just yet, but here are some of the issues the dev team is looking into (via the official Fortnite Trello board).

GENERAL TOP ISSUES:

1. ‘Failed to meet requirements’ error when equipping Jam Tracks as Lobby Music.

• Videos in the Lobby playing with every launch on Amazon Luna.

• Players cannot close the emote wheel without selecting an emote

BATTLR ROYALE TOP ISSUES:

The setting ‘Lock Input Method as Mouse’ is not working correctly

Back Bling Beacon Glass displaying incorrectly in the Locker

LEGO FORTNITE TOP ISSUES:

In Development:

• Consumable buff timers can be overwritten when eating another consumable with a buff
• Players are unable to sit on Seating furniture that is touching a wall
• Dynamic Structure parts may displace and shift when moving fast
• There is no indication of which direction some furniture is being placed

Investigating

• Villagers exploring with players may destroy structures while trying to harvest.

ROCKET RACING TOP ISSUES:

Fixed in Future Update:

• “Polygonal” boost icon missing in Locker.
• Locker’s Vehicles – SUV/Truck and Sports Cars sections changes to a different background color when navigating through the cosmetics options
• While the SUV / Truck Locker category is set as primary vehicle, the players Sports Car appears instead of the Behemoth Car Body upon entering a Rocket Racing island
• The skull texture of the “Behemoth Dune Hunter” Behemoth Decal is applied on the trims while the View Distance Video Setting is set to “Epic” or “Far” but is not present when using lower settings
• Werewolf and Diestro Black Painted Car Bodies are not currently cross-granting from Fortnite into Rocket League for owners of these Car Bodies
• McLaren 765LT Painted Wheel variants are not currently cross-granting from Fortnite into Rocket League for owners of this Car Body

FORTNITE FESTIVAL TOP ISSUES:

In Development:

• HOPO Note Following Chorded Note Not Consistently Hit
• Season 4 Main Stage sometimes makes explosion noises.
• Jam Stage Mixers – Players need to equip Jam Tracks before hopping into the Jam Stage to access songs and start making music.

Investigating

• Keybinds are being reverted to the default ones in Battle Stage and Main Stage.
• Audio Stuttering On Switch After Extended Play

SAVE THE WORDL TOP ISSUES:

• Wildlife do not eat consumables.

Investigating

• Player-built structures may be damaged by weapons in Storm Shield Defense and Endurance missions.

In Development:

• Metallica Letters pick-up appearing in inventory.
