Frankie Muniz Gears Up for Asphalt Legends Unite
Remember Frankie Muniz? You know, the famous child actor who starred as Malcolm, the boy genius in the hit sitcom Malcolm in the Middle? It’s probably not a name you’ve heard in a long while, which we don’t blame you unless you’re a NASCAR fan,
While Muniz has made brief appearances in other shows over the years, he has shifted from acting to becoming a professional race car driver over the last decade. It was a massive career change, though he’s become quite successful and undoubtedly loves it. Well, to help share this passion with the world, he’s gearing up along with other actors and teaming up with developers Gameloft for a special trailer for Asphalt Legends Unite that highlights the ability to play anywhere and on any device, along with collaborating for a special in-game event.
Asphalt Legends Unite – Play Together
As mentioned, Gameloft and Frankie Muniz will also collaborate on in-game events called “Race with Muniz.” These events will allow players to earn a special edition of Frankie Muniz’s car from July 24 to October 7 while also participating in-game in some of the races he’ll partake in real life. The dates for when the events will take place in-game are as follows.

- October 4
Here’s what Muniz had to say about the event:
“I think the one thing I really love about the game is it’s fun, you get in the car, you race around, you jump around, and you’re racing against your friends all over the world. That’s what I want when I’m playing a game,” said Frankie Muniz. “I get to race real cars in real life, so if I’m going to be playing a game, I want it to give me a different, exciting, connected experience, and you get that with Asphalt.”
Asphalt Legends Unite will be available on the App Store, Google Play, Microsoft Store, Steam, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and for the first time on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 starting July 17, 2024.
