Desperate times call for desperate measures, and that’s exactly what developers Massive Monster called for when they challenged their community. With a little less than a month left in the year, the studio thought it would be a good idea for one last push to get followers on their Cult of the Lamb X account. The goal? Reach 300K followers before the year is over. The reward? Sex in Cult of the Lamb. No, you did not read that wrong, as Massive Monster found out there are a lot of thirsty players in Cult of the Lamb.
In an open challenge on X (formerly known as Twitter), Massive Monster announced that they would add sex to Cult of the Lamb if their game account could manage to hit 300K by the end of the year.

Well, a little under two hours after this announcement, the account hit, and even surpassed that number, with 390K followers as of writing. The studio issued an follow-up confirming that they are indeed serious.

In further follow-ups, the team even confirmed that sex would be free in Cult of the Lamb.

And while they announced a free content update, dubbed Sins of the Flesh, is set to arrive in early 2024, from the sound of it, Sex is coming before that update.

Now, we don’t know exactly what they mean by sex, as it could be referring to the lambs’ gender, as NPCs and followers don’t have one assigned. It could also be a character named Sex, or maybe they’re dead serious. Maybe they really will add sex to Cult of the Lamb, allowing players to breed their followers for more demonic rituals.
Who knows, but it won’t be long before we find out.
