The sequel to Sony Santa Monica’s 2018 Game of the Year is coming to PC later this year! Announced at today’s State of Play, the God of War Ragnarok PC version will launch on September 19, 2024!

You can view the State of Play announcement trailer here:

The PC launch will feature everything we’ve come to accept from Sony’s PC ports, including unlocked framerates, upscaling support for NVIDIA DLSS, AMD FSR, and Intel XeSS, and ultrawide support. Ragnarok’s an absolutely gorgeous game, so this will no doubt be the absolute best way to play it.

There are also some pre-order bonuses available for those interested. If you purchase God of War Ragnarök before launch on September 19, you will receive the Kratos Risen Snow Armor and the Atreus Risen Snow Tunic (cosmetic). You can unlock these items through in-game story progression.

The Digital Deluxe Edition will also come with a handful of goodies:

  • Full God of War Ragnarök game for PC
  • Kratos Darkdale Armor
  • Atreus Darkdale Attire (cosmetic)
  • Darkdale Blades Handles for the Blades of Chaos
  • Darkdale Axe Grip for the Leviathan Axe
  • Official God of War Ragnarök Digital Soundtrack
  • Dark Horse Digital Mini Artbook

The PC version will also include the free Valhalla DLC, a unique roguelike mode that adds to the already amazing story of the base game. We had lots of positive things to say about it in our impressions, which you can read here. We also found the base game to be a truly incredible experience. You can read our full review here.
