Hi-Rez Studios, the makers of Smite and Paladins, have announced a new game, and this one is all about multiplayer shooting! Titled “Rogue Company,” the game seems to be your traditional multiplayer shooter more than anything else.
Check out the Rogue Company announce trailer below.
According to the video, it’s a team-based, objective-focused shooter, which can be played in third-person. It will offer players the freedom to use characters that use guns, melee weapons, or gadgets. It seems to be locked in to 5v5 as well — at least for now.
Gamers can sign up for the alpha right here. According to the website, it’ll offer cross-play, cross-save across all platforms it’s set to be released on (PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC).
No release date yet for this one, but what do you think so far? It’s also not mentioned if it’ll be free-to-play, but given the studio’s history, don’t be surprised if it is.
