Hogwarts Legacy New Images and Cinematic Video Surfaces

The Autodesk Vision Series event officially kicked off today, featuring talks from studios like Playground Games (Forza Horizon 5,) Warner Bros Games Avalanche (Hogwarts Legacy,) and many more! While not the biggest gaming event out there, it seems that Hogwarts Legacy made a bit of a bigger appearance than many had thought, as a new cinematic video was shown off along with some images, and other tidbits of info.

First up is the new cinematic video that aired during the event’s broadcast.

Next is a batch of new images from the presentation itself. There’s not a whole lot to them, though one does confirm the name of the professor who was featured in the Hogwarts Legacy State of Play trailer.

Chandler Wood, who is the Community Manager at WB Avalanche, chimed in to confirm that the Charm professor is named “Abraham Ronen,” and as speculated by the community is indeed part of the Syltherin house.

Sadly there doesn’t seem to be anything else that was revealed during the stream, though hopefully we hear about a release date real soon. Hogwarts Legacy is currently targeting a 2022 release, and will be available on PC, PS4,PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and the Nintendo Switch (via streaming).

About the game:

Hogwarts Legacy is an immersive, open-world action RPG set in the world first introduced in the Harry Potter books. For the first time, experience Hogwarts in the 1800s. Your character is a student who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart. Now you can take control of the action and be at the center of your own adventure in the wizarding world. Your legacy is what you make of it.
