Sony has apparently filed a new Knack trademark in Japan, with the filing happening last March 17. For those who forgot about it, Knack is the name of the series of adventuregames, with the original one being one of the launch titles for the original PlayStation 4.

As spotted by Sal Romano of Gematsu, here’s a translation of the official filing of the “Knack” trademark over in Japan:

It’s been five years since Knack 2 was released, which was the sequel to the original Knack back in 2013. While this trademark may just be Sony refiling their properties, it’s interesting to speculate if we will possibly get a new Knack game for the PS5.

In case you missed it, BAFTA recently awarded the PS5 DualSense controller as the winner in the  “Best Controller Ever Tournament,” as voted by fans. Check out the full article here.

Special thanks to Sal Romano of Gematsu for spotting this one!
