Madden 23 Down for Maintenance This October 6

If you’re seeing Madden 23 down reports surface this October 6, it’s due to EA taking down the servers for maintenance. This seems to be an emergency one given the timing.

Madden 23 Down Server Status and Updates for October 6:

Here’s the announcement from EA:

Hey Madden fans, we’re running maintenance on Madden NFL 23 on October 6th from 11:00 a.m UTC to 3.00 p.m UTC. While we’re working you won’t be able to play online, but we’ll get you back in the game as soon as we can.

We’re unsure whether a new patch will be rolled out alongside this maintenance, as the official Madden NFL Direct Twitter account did confirm that the developers are investigating an issue regarding solo battles.

If there is a patch, we’ll be sure to let our readers know. If the maintenance schedule is extended, we’ll update the post accordingly too. For those curious about this year’s iteration of the football sim, go read our review of Madden 23 here, where we state, “Madden NFL 23 has some good new ideas, but is mostly more of the same. The graphics and presentation are fine, but only just. The football appears to have a mind of its own sometimes, while commentators don’t always have a response to the on-field action that makes sense. If Franchise mode is where you spend your time, then you are likely to enjoy the changes. Outside of that, though, Madden 23 feels awfully familiar.”
