If you’re seeing Madden 23 down reports surface this October 6, it’s due to EA taking down the servers for maintenance. This seems to be an emergency one given the timing.

We’re unsure whether a new patch will be rolled out alongside this maintenance, as the official Madden NFL Direct Twitter account did confirm that the developers are investigating an issue regarding solo battles.

Our team is investigating an issue with solo battles where some players are blocked due to new games not populating.

If Franchise mode is where you spend your time, then you are likely to enjoy the changes. Outside of that, though, Madden 23 feels awfully familiar.”
