Madden NFL 25 Releases Aug. 16, Cover Athlete and Different Editions Revealed
It’s that time of the year, folks! EA is poised to release a new Madden game this year, and we now know the release date for it. EA Sports has locked in the Madden NFL 25 release date for August 16! Not only that, but we also have our cover athlete reveal and even what variants players can buy at launch.

Release Date: August 16, 2024 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Cover Athlete: San Francisco 49ers superstar and reigning NFL Offensive Player of the Year Christian McCaffrey
McCaffrey led San Francisco to Super Bowl LVIII last season and further cemented himself as one of the league’s most consistent and explosive players in the process. His 339 total touches, 2,023 scrimmage yards and 21 total touchdowns all represented NFL bests on the year, and he tied a league record with 17 straight games with a touchdown.
