It seems the leaks are indeed legit, as NetEase has revealed the first season of Marvel Rivals today, and it’sc called “Eternal Night Falls.” While we’re done with Halloween, this season’s main baddie is none other than Dracula, and players can take a bite out of Marvel Rivals Season 1 when it starts on January 10.

Joining the roster in Season 1 is The Fantastic 4! Check out our first look at the group in the announcement trailer, where we also see NetEase’s depiction of Dracula.

Marvel Rivals Season 1 Trailer Reveals Dracula

The first season of Marvel Rivals begins January 10 at 1 am PST/4 am EST/4 pm HKT. Given that NetEase is a Chinese company, it’s understandable that the hours might be skewed more for Asia than the West.

Per the trailer, it mentions, “Darkness engulfs New York as the Timestream Entanglement leaves Doctor Strange trapped in the Entangled Astral Plane, scattering the Darkhold pages. Dracula and Doctor Doom disrupt the moon’s orbit, plunging the city into eternal night and unleashing an army of vampiric creatures. With the world on the brink, the Fantastic Four join forces with iconic Marvel heroes, standing together in the epic battle to break the mystical darkness with science. Ignite the battle against Dracula with the Fantastic Four in Marvel Rivals!”

Based on our sources, the two initial heroes available out of the gate will be Sue Storm (aka The Invisible Woman) and Mr. Fantasic. Joining them mid-season will be The Thing and The Human Torch. Expect vampire hunter Blade to be part of the mix, though we don’t know exactly when he’ll be available.

Regarding balance changes, the leak we posted yesterday mentioned Hel and Hawkeye are getting adjustments (presumably nerfs), alongside other characters.

Once the official patch notes are out, expect it here on MP1st ASAP!
