Sony has revealed the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 accessibility features, which aim to create a Spider-Man experience without barriers to any gamer.

Insomniac Games will build on the accessibility features on its previous titles and have added new improvements to the audio, captions, and gameplay of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 so that the game can be enjoyed by more players of different abilities.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Accessibility Features:

  • Audio: screen reader support will read aloud all on-screen text in menus.
  • Captions: on-screen captions and audio descriptions are available for cinematic scenes.
  • Gameplay: you can choose to slow down the action to 70%, 50% or 30% of the full speed; switching back to regular speed at any time.

In other Insomniac Games news, it was learned that the developer is working on a third AAA title in addition to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Marvel’s Wolverine. It’s unclear if the upcoming unannounced title will be another set in from the Marvel universe or a sequel to complete the Ratchet and Clank trilogy.

Meanwhile the upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 swings out this October 20 exclusively on the PS5.
