At the Summer Game Fest today, Insomniac Games has finally revealed the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 release date as October 20, 2023. This follows the earlier gameplay reveal last week at the PlayStation Showcase.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 follows Peter and Miles following the events of the original game and the Miles Morales expansion as they face the Venom symbiote as well as an assault on New York City by Kraven the Hunter, who is on the hunt for Dr. Curt Connors’ Lizard. The gameplay trailer revealed last week showcased Black Suit Spider-Man and Miles Morales working together to repel Kraven as he pursues Lizard across New York City.
