MK1 Down June 4

It’s almost time, people! Homelander is set to invade Mortal Kombat 1, and before that happens, NetherRealm Studios has taken the MK1 servers down to usher in a patch bringing the supervillain into the game this June 4.

MK1 Server Status for June 4:

Update: The complete patch notes for the Homelander patch is now live.

According to NetherRealm the servers will be down starting 6 am PT/9 am ET/9 pm HKT. No word yet on how long it will take, but usually it lasts 2-3 hours, though don’t be surprised if it’s turned on a wee bit faster.

Alongside Homelander, we are expecting a few gameplay fixes included in the title update. Once that’s live, we’ll provide a link to it in this same article for reference. In the meantime, go watch this gameplay trailer featuring Homelander as he demos his special moves.

Aside from Homelander, NetherRealm boss Ed Boon states that a “lot more” is still planned for Mortal Kombat 1, and we can’t wait to see what’s next.

If there are any changes to the maintenance schedule, we’ll update the article accordingly.
