MLB The Show 24 Update 1.09 Bats Out for Game Update 9 This May 16

San Diego Studio has deployed MLB The Show 24 update 1.09 (PS5 version 1.009, Xbox 1.0.0.83) today on all platforms, and this is for game update 9. This update includes new uniforms for the Cleveland Guardians and fixes various bugs in many of the game modes. Check out even more details in the May 16 patch notes for MLB The Show 24 below.

PS5 Update Version: 1.009.000 | Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S: 1.0.0.83 | Nintendo Switch: 1.09

GENERAL: 

• Cleveland Guardians City Connect uniform has been added.
• Fixed a bug that would cause players to have a random homerun celebration animation.
• Fixed a bug where an umpire would signal a very close foul ball fair.

CO-OP:  

• Various stability improvements.

CUSTOM STADIUM: 

• Fixed a bug that could prevent the batter’s eye from being rotated.
• Adjustments and bug fixes to various props.

ROAD TO THE SHOW:  

• Fixed a bug that could cause a crash when loading into the Draft Combine with a custom roster.
• Fixed a bug that could cause the “Go Three!” popup to remain on screen after an outfielder catches a fly ball.
• Monthly Manager Meeting logic adjusted for C potential two-way players.

DEREK JETER STORYLINES:  

• The reward window will now only display if a moment is completed.
• Fixed a bug that could cause a soft lock after exiting a moment.

MISCELLANEOUS: 

• Various updates to commentary.

DEVELOPER NOTES 

• There are no gameplay or live content balance changes in this update.
