While Infiinity Ward just released a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare patch earlier today, it seems a few weapon tuning changes didn’t make it into the update, and this includes one for the Modern Warfare Akimbo snake shot.
Over on Twitter, Modern Warfare Co-Design Director Joe Cecot mentioned that adjustments for akimbo snake-shots (for the .357 revolver) and the RPG are getting a “tuning pass” in the next big update.
Excited to get this update out!
We are working on an adjustment for akimbo snake-shots in a smaller update. Just needs testing. RPGs are also getting a tuning pass in the next big update to come later on. GLHF! https://t.co/nNFiro4JGb

Note that there’s no word yet on when this next big update is scheduled to drop, though I suspect it’ll be sometime in mid-May.
Also of note, Call of Duty: Warzone’s anti-cheat measures are getting a bump in functionality as the killcam and spectate reporting feature will go live this week according to Infinity Ward.
Anti-cheat update:
Killcam & Spectate reporting functionality will go live this week in #Warzone and #ModernWarfare, adding another way for players to report suspected cheats. We have zero tolerance for cheaters.— Infinity Ward (@InfinityWard) April 28, 2020

Chance are this is via a server-side update, which means players won’t need to download anything and it could drop at any point (might even be live now).
