NBA 2K23 update 1.010 is out now on both last-gen and next-gen platforms, and it’s another hefty download. This is an unannounced patch, which isn’t surprising for the game. Read on for what’s new in the NBA 2K23 PS5 and Xbox Series X|S update patch notes.

Update: Mike Wang, Gameplay Director of the NBA 2K franchise, tweeted the following confirmed changes as part of today’s patch:
- Addressed an issue that was preventing custom difficulty levels from working as intended
- Increased the frequency of putbacks to bring them more in line with expected levels
- Adrenaline boost usaage has been disabled when sprinting off-ball when on offense
- Adjust the logic for body-up animations to improve their reliability in expected circumstances
- Fixed some issues with Coach’s Clipboard to allow ACE tempo and Rebound settings to work properly

Unfortunately, Visual Concepts has not released the official patch notes just yet, though we’re hoping that will change within the day. Hopefully, this is the patch that brings in the updated jerseys and home courts for the teams.
Fixes/changes found in title update via the community:
- You can now run offball without losing adrenaline boost (via KIa-optima)
- Player lock no longer works for multiplayer – unconfirmed (via Aseroth)
- Perks in takeover appear in Rec (via ThanosxSwan)
- Players can now record tracks without the game crashing (via Rommas)
