New Destiny 2 Public Events Shown Off, Exotic Engrams Can Drop During Regular Play

If you’re a Destiny player, possibly one of the best moments of the game is when a Public Event occurs and everyone teams up for the common good. While there are instances of that happening, there wasn’t a lot of variation to these Public Events which caused some players to not care whenever it happened.

Hopefully, that won’t be the case for Destiny 2. Check out a few of the Destiny 2 Public Events in action in the videos below.

I’ll let you be the judge if they’re different enough from Destiny 1’s or from each other.

In other Destiny 2 news, remember how annoying it was to get Exotics in the first game? You had to wait for Xur, needed Three of Coins and so on. Well, in Destiny 2, that’s going to change — at least somewhat. Apparently, Exotic Engrams can be dropped by enemies by doing patrols, Public Events (like the ones above), and other missions!

Given we don’t know what exactly this new Exotic Engram will or can be, we’ll reserve judgement for now. But this is definitely welcome news. Let’s just hope there’s not another set of gear and weapons that will require their own currency in Destiny 2.
