New Ghost Recon Game in Development; 25th Anniversary Includes Free Game, Insider Program and More
As part of Ghost Recon’s 25th anniversary celebration, Ubisoft confirmed that a new title in the franchise is in development, though not much has been shared outside of that.
Aside from confirming a new Ghost Recon game, Ubisoft has launched a new program to let community members contribute feedback.
In addition to that, Ubisoft is also giving out one of the franchise’s entries to everyone on PC as part of the anniversary as well.
Ghost Recon 25th Anniversary Event Confirms New Game in Development
As part of the 25th anniversary stream, Ubisoft Ghost Recon Live Producer Irina Gabriela Popa said, “Hey, Ghosts. For the past few years, we’ve been building the next chapter of Ghost Recon. I’m really excited to share with you that now we’re ready to put it to the test because we want to deliver a fun, fresh experience that stays true to everything that defines Ghost Recon.”
Popa adds, “tactical action, large-scale operations, credible military storytelling, and of course, the ghost unit. To do it, we need your help. You can join our insider program.”
Players who sign up will be able to gain early access to closed tests, and their feedback will help balance, optimize, and fine-tune the experience.

No timetable has been given for the new Ghost Recon game, but given how there’s already an insider program built for it, we’re hoping it means testing will launch soon, and the title will be ready for release sometime in 2027.
